Introduction

GLAD-AI-TOR, operated by SharpSkill SAS, is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. This privacy policy transparently explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate the arena: a visitor_id cookie to identify returning visitors, a hashed version of your IP address (never stored in plain text), and payment information processed securely through Stripe. We do not require account creation or personal identification.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to operate the arena: preventing vote manipulation, limiting abuse (one comment per IP per product), processing payments via Stripe, and improving the user experience. We never sell your data to third parties.

Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We never sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted providers necessary for service operation: Stripe for secure payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant), Vercel for platform hosting, and Sentry for error monitoring. We may disclose data if required by French or European law.

Data Retention

Hashed IP addresses are retained indefinitely for abuse prevention purposes (duplicate vote detection). Payment records are retained as required by French accounting law (10 years for invoices). Comments are retained indefinitely as part of the public arena record.

Your Rights (GDPR)

GLAD-IA-TOR does not require any user account. The only personal data collected is the submitter's email address (when submitting a product) and hashed IP addresses (when voting). If you are located in the European Union, you may request access to or deletion of this data by contacting [email protected]. In case of dispute, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including IP hashing, secure HTTPS connections, and encrypted payment processing through Stripe. No plain-text IP addresses are ever stored on our servers.
