Yes, most tools in the arena offer a free tier (15 of 16), typically with limited characters per month and fewer voices. Our 'Best free AI voices' shortlist ranks the ones whose free plan is actually usable.
How does the crowd score work?
Every visitor can cast one verdict per tool (recommend or avoid) with a short comment, once per tool. Scores are smoothed with a Bayesian prior so a tool with 3 votes can't outrank one with 300. Votes are never paid or sponsored.
